What to Bring

If you own snorkel gear, you are welcome to bring it on the tour. Otherwise, swim masks, fins and life vests will be provided. Bring towels and a change of clothes for the boat ride back to Anna Maria Island.

What to Expect

United States Coast Guard licensed captains will be guiding the charters taking you to Egmont Key. After captains go over boat safety and the tour route, you will begin the fun, breezy ride to the island. Walk along Egmont Key’s shore, where you will spot many seagulls and turtles during season. Explore the Fort Dade lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in Florida.

Then dive into the ocean for a snorkeling adventure, where you’ll swim near sunken ruins of Fort Dade, and spot dolphins, turtles and fish. Follow up the swim with a photo-op and a relaxing ride back to Anna Maria.
