There are some fun things to do at home without leaving the
comfort of your own yard. It just takes some creativity and thinking outside
the box to get them started.

1. Gardening

Starting a garden can be quite a task, but growing your own flowers, plants, and vegetables is a perpetual reward. Something you can do to help the process along is use biodegradable packing peanuts to nourish your soil! Once you build the habit of feeding your lively friends, it turns into a fun hobby that’s a part of your every day routine. You’ll get some Vitamin D and fresh air while you’re at it too!

2. Training Man’s Best Friend

Interested in teaching your furry friend new tricks? Moving
their training outdoors is one of the best things you can do. With more
distractions, your pet will have to work even harder to complete tasks and
learn new things than they do indoors. This will teach them that even in the
most stimulating of circumstances, you’re always there to help!

3. Build a Box Fort

Building a box fort in your backyard is an activity for the whole family. A fun and stimulating activity for your kids as well as an awesome playground for the family pet. Get as creative and as big as you want, your backyard is your innovation ground!

4. Slip ‘N Slide

Getting a little too warm to sit in the yard? Grab a tarp
and some soap or if you have your own slip ‘n slide, pull it out and enjoy the
backyard fun! This is an easy, backyard game for kids with minimal clean up
needed.

5. Have a water balloon fight

A water balloon fight is the perfect way to get everyone out
of the house and into the sun! This is a refreshing way to get some exercise,
cool off, have fun and spend time with the family.

6. Backyard Camping

Have some camping gear? Set up your tent in your backyard and have a fun-filled backyard camping trip. Light up your propane fire pit or get some propane, pull out the marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers and make it almost just like the real thing!

7. Star Gaze

Don’t have all the necessities for at-home camping? Grab your family or roommates and all of your softest blankets and settle in for some stargazing. Portable heaters can help make this star gazing activity just that much more enjoyable!

8. Make a Tire Swing

Add some color to your yard and decorate your fence. Paint,

Create a mini-bar in your own backyard! Being stuck inside
all day isn’t fun, so you can create your own wind-down spot in your own yard. Get
creative and add things you’d need at a regular bar at the reach of your hands.
